Clement Jasmin Sr., a native of Marrero, Louisiana, transitioned peacefully on August 29, 2023, at the age of 64. He was the beloved son of Joseph A. Jasmin Sr. and the late Elenora Raymond Jasmin. Clement was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years–Tracy Cooper Jasmin; their son–Payton Phillip Jasmin; loving father–Joseph A. Jasmin Sr; 3 adoring daughters–Clemalita and Demetrice Jasmin, and Krystal (Keith) Boyd, of Clairemont, Florida; and his caring son–Clement (Amanda) Jasmin Jr. He was the adoring brother of Leontine, Bernadette, Grace, Joseph A. Jr., and Reginald Jasmin; loving grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 1; nephew of June Carter; godson of Morris Moody; loving son-in-law of Gwendolyn Weber Cooper; and brother-in-law to Brian (Venice), Loren Cooper, and Darren (Pamela) Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother–Elenora Raymond Jasmin; grandparents–Clement Jasmin, Mary Moody Burns, August and Elnora Washington; and father-in-law–Lloyd Cooper. Family; friends; members of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Regular Baptist Church, and Victory Christian Center International; and employees of Jefferson Parish, Fair Grounds OTB Gretna, LCMC, Ochsner, and Jefferson Rise Charter School, are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 8, 2023, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072, under the direction of Father Sidney O. Speaks III. The Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM; the Rosary will be at 8:45 AM followed by a Tribute of Life and Mass at 10:00 AM. The Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Terrytown, LA 70056. The funeral will be livestreamed.
