DORNAN Clifford Raymond Dornan A retired employee of the New Orleans Fire Dept. and Central Maintenance Garage and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Canon Hospice, Jefferson, LA. He was 86 and a US Army veteran of the Army of Occupation after WWII. There will be a visitation at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 3368 Esplanade Ave., on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 10 AM until mass at Noon conducted by Reverend Patrick Williams of St. Pius X Parish in New Orleans. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery Number One. He is survived by his loving wife Doris Ohman Dornan; three sons, Gregory, Kevin and Sean Dornan; two granddaughters Kristin and Katherine Dornan and their mother Gina Dornan; cousins and a host of nieces and nephews from the Dornan, Gerard, Madary, Ohman, Davis, Milla, White and Landry families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Sr. and Marguerite Abadie Dornan; sisters and brothers in law, Lois and Edward Gerard, Sr., Shirley and Francis Madary, Sr.; and brother and sister in law, Hugh H. Jr. and Evelyn James Dornan; nephews Walter Dornan and Edward Gerard, Jr. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church 3368 Esplanade Ave. New Orleans, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be at the Church from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow at St. Patrick #1 cemetery.
