Constance McEnaney, aged 94, passed peacefully into the next life on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents Harold & Pauline, brother Harold, granddaughter Michelle, and grandson James. Constance is survived by her daughters Karen & Leesa, son Mark, son-in-law Ernie, daughter-in-law Darlene, sister Nora, brothers Paul & John, grandchildren Colleen, Gary, and Kelley, as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Originally from Great Britain, Constance was a longtime resident of New Orleans and devoted member of Holy Spirit Church. She was a popular reader for WRBH 88.3 FM, Radio for the Blind and Print Handicapped and participated in various volunteer activities throughout her long life, so much so that she was a recipient of the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion by the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Constance will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass will be held in her memory on February 24 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 6201 Stratford Pl., New Orleans, LA 70131. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Our hearts are broken we just found out about the death of such a wonderful person. When she walked in the restaurant she brightened up the whole restaurant. We loved her and will miss her dearly.

I enjoyed Ms. Constance `company at the Pioneer meetings for Bellsouth. She told childhood stories and entertained us regularly. She had a great sense of humor and was always upbeat and witty. God bless her family and may you all have peace.

"Miss" Constance touched many lives. She was a kind, smart, strong, independent lady and a faithful Christian. I was glad to know her. She was loved and will be missed.

Prayers for family, friends, and those who were close to her. May all find strength, comfort, peace, and hope in God´s promises through Christ.
