Cynthia Ramsey Jackson transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home in glory on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Wife of Willarthur Jackson. Daughter of Bealuh Banks and the late Burnell Ramsey I. Sister of Argie Macklin of Memphis, TN, Burnell Ramsey II of Hazelhurst, MS, James Ramsey of Dallas, TX, Angela Coleman of Hazelhurst, MS, Kenneth Ramsey of Hazelhurst, MS, Gloria Ramsey of Hazelhurst, MS and Cassandra Daniels of Newport News, VA and the late Gerald Ramsey. She is also survived by one aunt Josie Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also employees of FHA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Martin Marietta, Tulane University Cancer Research and Ronald McDonald House Charities are invited to attend the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Antioch M.B.C., 13146 Hwy 51 South, Hazelhurst, MS. To the Ramsey & Jackson Family,
My deepest condolences during this difficult time.
Cynthia and I worked together at Tulane. We ate lunch together everyday. All her talk would be Will, her mother, her aunt, sisters, Kenneth and her nieces & nephews. I would hear all about the presents at Christmas time. Their were three days every year we made sure we called other, Feb. 12th Mrs. Bealuh's birthday,March 11th Cynthia's birthday & March 19th my birthday.
There's nothing I can say about her that wasn't said at the funeral, It was a beautiful (Cynthia) funeral. She was just that type of person, loving, caring & giving.
I'll miss Cynthia just as much as you all. Because she was a very good and true friend too me.
Just remember earth has a sorrows that heaven cannot heal.
Family stick together and continue to gave as Cynthia did. Continue to hold too God's unchanging hands, and he will see us through this difficult time.

Cynthia was an outstandingly kind and brave human being. At risk to herself, with no fanfare, she was one of the few people at Tulane, who supported me through a difficult time. I will always remember her warm smile, her independence, her integrity, her intelligent humor and her morality. She was and is an inspirational person in my life.
