Dale M. Delpit

Dale M. Delpit, I, a retired Post Master with the United States Postal Service, entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Jacquelyn W. Delpit. Father of Jada M. Delpit and Dale M. Delpit II (Nadine). Grandfather of Rayshard A. Allen and Robert J Antoine, Jr. Son of the late Auguste F. Delpit and Beulah P. Bonzonier Delpit. Son-in-law of the late Catherine J Williams and Lawrence Porter. Also preceded in death by brothers Leonard F. Delpit, August A Delpit, Gerald A Delpit; sisters Gloria M Smith and Marily Johnson and brother-in-law Monroe J. Williams. Survived by three sisters: Audrey Wilson, Darnell P. Sarpy and Angela Delpit; brother-in-law to Llewellyn (Colette) Williams, Brenda Delpit Sylvia Bell Williams and Richard Smith. Devoted longtime family friend of Enda S. Minor. Also survived by a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 for 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 6828 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA.
