Daniel Mason, III, a freelance chef, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 11, 2024.? He was 58.? Mr. Mason was a native of New Orleans and a proud alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1983.? He was also a member of Young Men Olympians (YMO) organization Furious 5 – Fifth Division.? Mr. Mason is survived by his devoted companion, Yolanda Jackson; 10 children, Kentrell and De'Mahj Mason, Bianca Butler, Terriel and Jajuan Jefferson, Jeremiah Kennedy, Daisia, Domonique and Dayonna McFarland, and Jemajha Wilson;?10 grandchildren; siblings: Danell, Roshonna, and Jovana Mason, Otis Brumfield, Jr., and Barbara Alcorn; Aunt, Josephine Moran; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
