MAY HE COMFORT YOU AS HE WALKS WITH YOU.

The road of life may take us

where we do not care to go --

up rocky paths, down darkened trails,

our steps unsure and slow.

But our dear Lord extends His hand

to hold, to help, to guide us.

We never have to feel alone,

for He walks close beside us.

May you find strength

in God's presence at this time,

and may His LOVE be your comfort.

On behalf of the Brooks Family.

We love you and we are with you in prayer.

Valeria: My sympathies are with you and your family. Rev Powell and your mother were pillars of my childhood which helped me make it through that early life. I will never forget them. You have my love but always remember- you will meet again-this is not the end.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear PASTOR. Although, I have relocated to another city and have taken membership with another church, I have always considered Rev. Powell as my pastor which I made it known to him every time I spoke with him. I know that Ms. Irene was there to welcome you HOME. My prayers are with Valeria and my fellow parishioners of Regular.

My deepest condolences to the Regular Baptist Church family and the immediate family of Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Powell. My family has fond memories of Rev. Powell and his familiarity to my family (on both sides)--Beevers and Tross. He was a great pastor and man of God, always preaching the what thus saith the Lord. Do remember, "Weeping may endure but for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Remember if you live in the word of God, you will surely see him again. May God continue to bless you in your hour of bereavement.
