Daniel P. "Danny" Sigur

Daniel "Danny" P. Sigur passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the age of 57. He was the loving father of Therese Sigur, Raquelle Sigur Oddo (Chris) and Daniel P. Sigur, II. Proud grandfather of Ashyln, Kasidy and Sophia Oddo; Camren and Carsen Watts; and Daniel P. Sigur, III. Son of the late Frederick J. Sigur and the late Marguerite Bradbury Sigur. Brother of Frederick J. Sigur, Jr. and the late Carolyn A. Sigur, Kenneth M. Sigur and David J. Sigur. He is loved and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends and neighbors. Daniel was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and recently of St. Tammany parish. He will be forever remembered for putting his family first and for always being there for them. He was a man who would help anybody in need and often did. Even throughout all his trials and tribulations in life, he kept a smile on his face. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM followed by a Mass. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Danny to the American Cancer Society or Masses is preferred. Greenwood Funeral Home and Floyd Herty are in charge of arrangements
