Dareio Williams Obituary

Dareio S. Williams, age 33 was born on January 2, 1991, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was welcomed into the world on January 2, 1991, by his mother, Penny Williams and his father, Darryl Coulon. As a New Orleans native, Dareio grew up Uptown where he attended Lawrence T. Crocker Elementary and participated in the Boys 2 Men program which led him to New Orleans Free School. He then attended L. E. Rabouin Career Magnet School, graduating with honors in 2009. Being an industrious worker from the age of 15, it was later at Metro International that he pursued a career that was cut all too short as he became ill. "Dee" or "D Man" - as Dareio was affectionally known by his friends and family - enjoyed having movie nights with his mom, passing time with friends, playing practical jokes and watching moonshine videos on YouTube. He was a big Saints fan, a foodie, and humorous smart mouth known for saying, "Nobody wanna hear all that." But nothing compared to spending time watching cartoons with his precious daughter, Lette Ann. His last years were dedicated to being a loving, caring, and loyal son, brother, cousin, friend, and boyfriend. Most of all, however, he was a good father to his only daughter, Lette Ann, who was the twinkle of his eye. Dareio is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father. Left behind to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his beloved mother, Penny M. Williams; his daughter, Lette Ann Sharkie; his lovely girlfriend, Kinsey Sharkie; and his brother. Kyrin Coulon. A host of family and friends have also been left to grieve this loss. Dareio is truly missed. The family would like to thank all of you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113 at 12:30 p.m. Visitation from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Interment Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA at a later date. RIP D.

Life is a garden and we are the flowers of the Holy Father. On April 30, 2024 you became one of many beautiful roses that God decided to pick to place in His vase to make an amazing bouquet.

You may be gone but you should never be forgotten.
