I was in David's graduating class at SSC and kept up with him through Facebook over the last year or so.

Living in the dorms as we did we all were a close-knit group and even though I haven't seen David probably since the day we graduated I am saddened by his passing. It is with fondness that I remember David and I extend my condolences to his family. Rest in peace, David.

God Bless the Kearney family, Dave was indeed a gentle giant. Had the pleasure of coaching at John Curtis when he played football. Last saw him at the Superdome Home Show in 2004 & he sold my sister a Directv Pkg.

I was so blessed to have you in my life for the past 20 years. I love you with all of my heart always and forever. You were the love of my life. I always knew it would be until death do us part. I don't know how I will ever smile again. I miss you until it is excruciatingly painful. I always thought you were invincible. You were the biggest goof. There is not nor will there ever be another like you. You were truly one of a kind. We'll meet again. Until then, rest in peace my love.
