David Michael Matherne

David Michael Matherne gained his wings doing what he loved, camping, with his loving and devoted wife, Dana of 36 years. He is survived by his 2 sons, Jarrett (Danielle) and Joel (Kimberly) and his grandchildren, Kaleb, Kobe, and Jolie. David was a lifelong resident of Bridge City, LA. He worked at ADM for 28 years. He loved to fish, camp and hang out with his many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Nelson Peter Matherne and his mother, Virgie Lee Matherne. He is survived by his sister, Maggie (Duane), brother, Paul (Cathy), sister, Melinda (Curtis), Marianne and Martha; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends if the family, also employees of ADM Shipyard are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 6pm.
