Debra, where do I begin. When we were there for Nell and Daniels funeral, I knew how heavy your heart was with grief. We both had to bury our children, and I knew the pain that you were feeling. All I could do was hug you and kiss you because words can't comfort a hurt like that..

As your health took a turn for the worst, I prayed that God would keep you safe in his arms and he did, because your with him and your out of the storm...God has been so good to all of us, I had prayed that you would not be by yourself and you weren't, you never were. God was there all of the time and when HE WAS READY, he put his arms around you and took you to a better place. I am so glad that I had a chance to talk to you the day before and that Lisa was able to sit with you the day you left this world. She stayed with you until you feel asleep, just like you asked her to do...And now you are in a place with no worries or pains, no more needles, no more machines beeping.. just peacefulness.

Your with your daughter, grandson, and my son(your god son)and the rest of the family. Thanksgiving 06 will always hold a special memory for me, because all of us were together at my house and now 4 of you are gone. Thank you Jesus for giving us that time together. .see how good God is.

I will miss you so much, you were more than my aunt, you were my sister, my friend, my business consultant and cutting up buddy all in one. I will cherish all of the memories that we had together. Kiss my baby for me and don't you guys get up there and cut up too much.

I love you and I will never forget you...

To The Family of Mrs. Debra C. Russell
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Donyelle Simmons and she was a joy. I also attended her celebration of life and it was beautiful. I met her mother on that day and expressed the blessing of having met her daughter. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will continue to console your hearts as you continue to care for Donyelle's children. Remember, absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. God bless you all.
