Delmire Andrew ""Cham/Del'' Roux on Monday, September 4, 2006 at 6:47 p.m. Age 90 years. A resident of Luling, LA for the past 60 years. Beloved husband of 65 years to Amy Zeringue Roux. Father of Jeffrey A. Roux (spouse, Jara Dubroca Roux), Ursin Louis Roux (spouse, Mollie Pertuit Roux), Retta Ann Roux Loupe (spouse, Russell Loupe), Regina Marie Roux Matherne (spouse, Frank Matherne and Paul Egle - dececased). Son of the late Ursin Louis Roux and Eva Champagne Roux. Brother of Earline Roux Mongrue, the late Velma Roux, Villa Roux Kinler and Roy Roux. Grandfather of Cade, Jason and Justin Roux, Rhiney Loupe Hampton, Rhea Loupe Dufrene, Traci Egle Dufrene and Paul Egle. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Roux was a graduate of Delgado Trade School, and retired from Shell Refinery in Norco, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive, Luling, LA on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by interment in St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling, LA. Visitation on Thursday morning after 9:00 a.m. until Mass time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, or Special Olympics. WESTSIDE/LEITZ EAGAN FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
