Denis Colomb Obituary

Denis George Colomb, Sr. went home unexpectedly to be with his Lord and Father on Sunday, July 3, 2005. Denis was the beloved husband, son, father, and dear friend to those whose lives were touched by him. Denis is survived by wife, Tressa (Orizotti) Colomb; his mother, Joyce Colomb Taylor, five children: Denis Colomb Jr., Ross, Alyson, Josh and Michael Colomb; two grandchildren; brother, Ed (Manny) and Lisa Colomb; three sisters: Juanita and Jerry Nehlig, Debbie and Glen Jaufre and Cheryl and Luis Ceurvas; and Tressa's parents: John and Mary Carol Orizotti. Also surviving are Rick and Mary Orizotti, Ed and Patty Orizotti, Tom Orizotti, Tony and Lisa Orizotti, Mike and Johnna Kerr, Brad and Tara Leonard, numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Colomb. The family will be receiving visitors Friday, July 8th at 6:00PM at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA with services at 7:00PM. Burial will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery on Monday, July 11th at 11:00AM. Donations are requested to be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Denis was truly a man of God who exemplified his faith and trust in the Lord through his kind and gentle spirit. We love you Denis.

Denis was a very special person and friend. He shared his faith and touched my life, which I will never forget. He will be missed.
