Dennis A. Giesemann

1951 - 2024

Dennis A. Giesemann passed away at Our Lady of the Lake with his family by his side on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the age of 72. He was a retired mechanical engineer from Exxon with many years of service; resident of Baton Rouge and native of New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 11am until services at 12pm, conducted by Brian Carroll. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Dennis is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Anne Carroll Giesemann; son, Blake Beadle; siblings, Debra Giesemann Anderson and husband James, Darryl Giesemann and wife Angelique, and David Giesemann and wife Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Albert and Ruby "Pep" Hall Gieseman. Dennis was generous and kind and loved by all. He enjoyed fishing, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Dennis was a graduate of Tulane University with a BS in mechanical engineering and an MBA in business and finance.
