Diana "Diane" Osborne Hamilton entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 23, 2016 at River Bend Nursing Home. Mother of Jimmie (Shenara) Hamilton, Jr. Grandmother of Jyah and James Hamilton. Daughter of the late William and Emma M. Osborne. Sister of Victoria O. (Stanley) Eskine, Linda O. (Joseph) Cooper, Gertrude O. Shelby, and the late William, Lawrence, and Geraldine Osborne, Veris Broussard, Emma Scales, and Elmira Bias. Niece of Huey (Anita) Johnson, Sr., of Plaquemine, LA. Sister in law of Ernestine Osborne. Godmother of Quandra Thomas. Devoted friend of Debra Crowley and Lillian "Sister" Gaddis. Former wife of Jimmie Hamilton, Sr. also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Age: 66 years, a native of Plaquemine, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Zion Travelers First Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Zion Travelers First Baptist Church, 406 Adams St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Pastor Irvin Scales, Sr., officiating.
