Diane Gennusa Obituary

Diane Elaine Gennusa was born May 10, 1966 in Nassau County, New York to Robert and Mary Lou Hieter and passed away unexpectedly in Kingwood, Texas, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the age of 48. Diane graduated from Slidell (LA) High School in 1984 and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She met Frank Paul Gennusa, III in Houston, Texas; they married in 1990, and settled in Kingwood. Diane is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Anthony Joseph and Joseph Dominick Gennusa; her father, Robert Hieter; sisters, Sherri Hieter Jones, Julie Hieter Hymel, and Gail Hieter Blalock; and numerous extended family members. Visitation was from 6 - 8 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Road, in Kingwood, Texas. A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated at 12:00 noon Friday, October 10, 2014 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge, Porter, Texas 77365. Inurnment followed in the Chapel of the Chimes Mausoleum in Brookside Cemetery. For more information about the life of Diane or to sign the online guest book, please visit www.darstfuneralhome.com.

So sorry to learn of your loss. I met Diane at dialysis when I was there with my husband. I lost him back in January. He always had something nice to say about Diane. I always enjoyed visiting with her in the waiting area.
