Dollie Joshua Obituary

Mrs. Dollie Hines Joshua was born on January 2, 1942 in New Orleans, LA to the late Rev. Doc C. Hines and Amelia Hayward. She entered eternal rest on Friday, November 3, 2023. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Joshua is also preceded in death by her siblings, Jerome, Sr., Clarence, Sr. and Freddie Hines, Ida Hines Lestrick, Willietta Hines Harrison and a grandson, Malik Arnold. She leaves to cherish precious memories, husband, Sidney Joshua; sons, Craig, Derrick (Yadonna) and Byram Joshua; siblings, Ethelyn Hurst, Ferdinand, Sr. and Murl Hines; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Dollie Hines Joshua will be held at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1126 N. Robertson Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10 am. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003. Visitation 9 am in the church.
