Your mom was a great help to my mom, Renee Horton, at the Parkinson's exercise group at the Wellness Center. One of her grandchildren has been an amazing help to my nephew in obtaining an internship. My mom spoke very highly of your family and is saddened by your loss. May her memory be a blessing

Our Blessed Mother brought Dolores into our lives through the Rosary prayer group that began at our house in 1992. Dolores was one of founding members whose deep faith and love of Jesus and His Holy Mother were always obvious and an inspiration. In the last days of her final trial, this faith reached heroic levels. It has been a tremendous blessing to me and my family to have had Dolores in our lives and a great privilege to have called her a dear friend. Eternal rest grant unto Dolores, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Dolores, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I learned of the passing of Delores today. We knew each other from our exercise class at the Wellness center. I am truly blessed to have experienced her sweetness, courage, and faith. May our Blessed Mother bring you comfort in your sorrow.

We only knew Delores for 6/12 years but she was a pleasure to know and we enjoyed her,Bob and the family and we enjoyed Deloreses cooking. WOW! We will miss her smiling face and knock on the front door bringing food she prepared. Thanks, Verges family for sharing her with us. You all are in our prayers.

You may not remember me but I was the real estate agent that helped you with a house in Baton Rouge when you evacuated after Katrina. I am so sorry to hear of Dolores' passing. I know how close of a family you are. I think of you often and have hoped your lives renewed after the storm.

While I never met Ms. Dolores face to face, I corresponded with her frequently as she participated, by email, in some of the classes I taught. I wish her well in her new journey and offer my condolences to those who mourn her passing to New Life.
