Donald J. Branon, Sr. on Wednesday, July 31, 2002. Devoted son of Sarah C. Branon and the late Nelson Branon. Devoted husband of Brenda W. Branon. Father of Donald J. Branon, Jr. and Bianca D. Branon. Brother of Lois B. LaBeaud, Barbara B. Holloway and his twin brother, the late Ronald Joseph Branon. Godfather of La Shanique Levy, Courtney Lomax, Kerry Marque Davis and Dana Williams. Son-in-law of Lottie M. Hampton. Brother-in-law of Dianne, Lawrence, Shirley Williams and Glenda Millet. Great-nephew of Ellen Hardy and John Williams of St. Francisville, LA. Nephew of Beulah Lathan, Hazel Mack, Rosie McKinley and Bessie Hamilton. Uncle of Henry and Ronald Holloway, Nicole LaBeaud, Sloane Smith, Michael, Parker and Yolaund Sulcer all of Los Angeles, CA, Joseph Millet III, Chontel and Larry Reynolds, Dana, Patrick and Lawrence Williams, Jr. all of New Orleans, LA. Also survived by a host cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family; also pastors, officers and members of St. John Institutional Baptist Church, Nazareth Ebenezer, Historic 2nd, Plymouth Rock, Christian Unity Baptist Churches, Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church, St. James Methodist Church; employees of Iron Workers Local 58, U.S.D.A. National Finance Center, Title I of the O.P.S.B., Sears and University of Phoenix faculty and staff are all invited to attend the Wake Service on Sunday, August 11, 2002 at 6 p.m. Visitation from 4 until 6 p.m. at St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church, 2538 Jackson Ave. Dismissal at 10 a.m. on Mondy August 12, 2002 at St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by D. W. RHODES FUNERAL HOME, 3933 Washington, Ave.
