To the Moore family i had the pleasure of being one of the many young people to have been coached by Coach Moore. Like most people have said he was not only the greatest basketball coach in Millaudon Middle Schools existence, He was a magnificent human being who not only taught us the game of basketball but taught us the game of life. He taught his students respect for themselves for not accepting the way things always were but to make things better for themselves. He always pushed his students extra hard to become a better person and a asset to society instead of a statistic or end up dead or jail. He also taught us how to respect others and made us understand that all adults and all human beings are to be respected if you wanted that same respect. He will definitely be missed by all who he has touched in his many years of teaching and coaching. May god bless his entire family during these troubling times and be well assured heaven has definitely gotten a lot better to have such a distinguished gentleman in its prescence. He was and still will be the topic of discussion to my kids when i tell them how it used to be when i played basketball under the greatest coach and person at Millaudon Middle School. Our coach, our mentor, and our friend Coach Doc Moore.
