Doris Craig Jeanfreau passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born in California, raised in Plant City, FL, and resided in Bush, LA. She was the Fifth Ward Junior High School crossing guard for 20 years. She was the manager of the St. Tammany Council on Aging in Bush for 22 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to everyone. "May she rest in peace knowing they also loved her." Daughter of the late John Craig, Sr. and Helen Ruth Bowman Craig. Devoted wife of Arthur L. Jeanfreau for 28 years. Sister of Jetta Davis. Loving mother of Timothy Mercer (Jaclyn), Carl Hoover (Samantha), Michael Jeanfreau (Danielle), and Edward Jeanfreau. Grandmother of Kayla, Austin, Caiden, Celina, Caroline, Joseph, and Layla. She was preceded in death by her siblings John Craig, Jr., Robert Craig, Iris Caldwell, and her grandson William Lala. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her service and Celebration of Life at Hebron Baptist Church, 79614 LA Highway 41, Bush, LA 70431 on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
