Dorothy May Obituary

Dorothy Markle May passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. May Sr., and her son, Robert S. May Jr. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Markle. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters, Christine (Tina) May and Susanne (Sudie) May. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Taylor Markle May, Robert Hayes Cummins, Alexis Leanne Talley, and Ashley Renae Earley, as well as one great-grandchild Grayson May Alexander. Dorothy was an amazing artist, a wonderful mother and grandmother, as well as a great cook with a heart of gold. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a prayer service on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 10 AM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
