Drusella Ann Parker Ferbos

1957 - 2022

Drusella Ann Parker Ferbos, at the age of 64, surrounded by her family, made her transition to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 9, 2022. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Drusella was born on October 29, 1957. She was educated in the Orleans Parish School System, and was a proud graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School class of 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was most recently employed at Sleep Number. She joined the company in 2017 and achieved her goal as an Innovative Solutions Specialist. Drusella loved life and family. She was the life of every party and there was nothing she wouldn't do for her family, especially her grandchildren. Drusella will certainly be missed by all. Her spirit of resilience, and her love of life will live on in the lives of those she impacted. Preceded in death by her husband of twenty-one years, Kevin M. Ferbos; mother Yvonne R. Gibbs, father Willie R. Parker, grandmother Meriam R. Collins, son William H. Sanders, and sisters Kathleen P. Legier and Veda Wanda Gibbs. Drusella leaves to cherish her memory, her son Corey M. Parker (Sherri), stepdaughters LaTonya Washington Jenkins (Michael) and Mia Davis; four grandchildren, Kiara Julien, Zyon Parker, Corey Parker II, Gracelyn Parker; and a host of family, friends and other loved ones. Family, friends, all staff and employees of Sleep Number, Chalmette Refinery, Cox Communications, New Orleans Corner's Office; as well as all clergy, officers, and members of Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral and Abundant Life Tabernacle; are all invited to attend Drusella's Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, April 23, 2022 for 10:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1701 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The service may be viewed via Livestream on the Abundant Life Tabernacle Facebook page and You Tube Channel @databernacleexperience.
