My heart aches as though I lost my mom all over again. I remember all the times your mom "mommed" me when I was good/bad and it makes for fond memories! I can't help but think that Ms. Earlean is in heaven with my mom looking down on us and having a good laugh - just like old times!!!

John, Cindy and the rest of the famiily,
I am saddened by the loss of your mother. I cannot perfectly recall the relationship, but your mother and my mom were friends from long ago. I discovered that while teaching Cindy.
I know your mother was a wonderful person, full of life and spirit. I wish I would have known her better, but through you two, it's obviously that she was a great person. You carry what she has taught you and all those values and loves are cherished and shared with those you love. Continue to show her grace and uphold what she has taught you. That is my advice.
Now I know that the Angels in Heaven will open their wings for her. I just know it, so be relaxed, hang on to family and friends for the next few weeks and slowly you will understand that changes being made in her spirit and your life. Why? I have no idea, but I will say this, only because my Mom told me, "Don't sweat it here. Be a good kid, listen, don't harm others and when you get to Heaven, it'll all be explained. Don't worry about what happens when you're here."
With that, I will keep your family in my prayers.
