I'm regret that I am out of town on vacation and unable to share these thoughts personally to Mother Chase and family.

I will miss Mr.Chase. I have many good memories of his smiling greeting whether after the prom or picking up food to go for over 50 years of my life. He always greeted us as if we were all family. I know he rests in peace. My deepest sympathy to Ms. Chase and the family.

I can't imagine Orleans Ave. Without Mr. Dooky. He was such a gentleman and great citizen. I loved getting my take outs on Fridays and chatting with him and the family. My 1st job was at Dooky Chase Restaurant over 20 yrs ago. . Thank you Mr and Mrs Chase for giving me the opportunity to work there. Mr Chase was just like a Father to me. He was a kind hearted person. He will be missed. RIP Mr.Chase.

You have my deepest condolences. As a resident of the neighborhood, I had the opportunity to visit the restaurant on many occasions. Mr. Dooky was one of the nicest people you would want to meet. He treated his customers with much respect regardless to whether you were a celebrity or neighborhood person. Ms. Leah, you are the same way and we love you both for it.
