Salassi Family,
We are saddened to hear about Mr. Ed's passing we just found out and I wish we would have known sooner so we could have been a part of the service. He was our grandpa that was so loving and kind I am sorry that he is gone but he will always be in our hearts and memories. He was a good man who had a big heart and caring. Jessica Mackles Ed's grandaughter.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Judge Salassi. I worked with him for a number of years in the New Orleans Hearing Office (as it was called then). Judge Salassi was always great to work with. I remember his wicked sense of humor and some of the laughs we shared over the years. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Ann, Kathryn & Edmond - sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. My Dad, Jerry Salassi, sends his condolences. My grandmother, Alys Villere Salassi (103 years of age) died just a few days after your Dad. Today my Dad and I visited for a long time and he retold story after story of he and Cuny growing up together and all the mischief they got into. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Anne,Kathryn and Edmund,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss. I have so many wonderful memories of your family...the house on Wirth Place, summer trips to the Riviera (Destin of course)I'll never forget Anne and I listening to Joni Mitchell over and over...your Dad came into her room and said "Who is that wailing female?"
May you all find comfort, healing and peace in the shared memories of your Dad.
Best,
Jane Boswell Adams

Ed, Kathryn, and Ann. Your dad and I served together for many years as Administrative Law Judges. I'm very sorry for your loss. I, too, will miss him. I want you to know that today I posted this obituary on AALJ.Org. There is a Memorial Section on that website in remembrance of our fallen brothers and sisters. I'm still at the Shreveport Office. Please contact me if there is anything that you need.

Kathryn, Edmond and Ann: I did not realize that your dad lived in our area at Kingston, so I wish that I had visited him. He was always very kind to me....even though I had not seen him in years. I hope all of you are OK and your mom is doing fine.
