I just heard thru our Basketball Buddies about Ed; he was a great guy and a friend of both my father and I; Ed and I used to play Tennis & Basketball. He was a class act through and through and a gentle giant. Sadly, the heart of gold that he and my Father both had failed them per-maturely; it's just like in 'Brian's Song', it's not how he died, it's how he lived...and man, did Eddie Constantine live! Rest in Peace Big Ed

The Bam. Bam was one of my best friends. Solid guy in every way. Fun to be around and a heck of an athlete. Not living in New Orleans we didn´t get together too much as we grew older but net every few years to keep in touch. I am happy we met a few years back for a Brother Martin tribute to the team he played on. Great friend and I sure will miss him.

Hopefully all of us will have that one friend in life that is always there for you when you need them. Eddie was that friend to me. From our Freshman year at Brother Martin until he passed away he was always there for the heavy lifting when you needed muscle, there when you needed a laugh and always there to play basketball or tennis. I will miss him dearly. This Gentle Giant was adored by my wife and kids and was part of our family. He was smart, well read, personable and it was a joy just hanging out with him.
Rest in Peace 'Bam'.......practice that dribbling and jump shot and one day we'll play one one again and I'll let you win!
