Edward James "Eddie" Hereford

Edward (Eddie) James Hereford, passed away May 8, 2014 peacefully at his home in New Orleans. He was 67. He is survived by his wife Trudy Wolf Hereford. Son of the late Marguerite McGinnis Hereford and Robert Francis Hereford. A graduate of L.E. Robouin High School. At the age of 42 he moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado where he became an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous carrying the message to many people. Alcoholics Anonymous became his true life's work. He was also a prominent business owner in the community. At the time of his death, he was employed by J Con Construction of New Orleans. He was a member of the Canal Street Church in Mid City. Eddie is the father of LaVallon Hereford and David O'Connell of New Orleans, LA as well as Michelle Coon and Cinamon Hench of Ft. Collins, CO, and the late Kristen Hereford. Grandfather of Airyanne Carlos, Tawnee Garcia, Richard Garcia and Mark Garcia of California and Alex Duzat, Jonathan O'Connell and Talia O'Connell of New Orleans, Tannan Austin and Garrett Hench both of Fort Collins. Brother of Sylvia Foster (Bill) and Robert F. Hereford (Jenny). He is also survived by three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
