Elizabeth "Lizzie" Doerr

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Neel Doerr, beloved wife of the late Edgar George Doerr, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the age of 91. She is survived by her children; Ernest J. Doerr (Pam), Kenneth J. Doerr (Phyllis) and Mary Doerr O'Flynn (Kevin). She was the proud grandmother of Jamie Doerr, Shannon O'Flynn Fried (Garrett), Jeremy O'Flynn and Tiffany King (step-granddaughter) and great-grandmother of Elaina Doerr, Addison and Cohen Fried and Brennon and Cheyenne King (step great-grandchildren). Daughter of the late Louis and Odette Neel. Sister of Odette Colombo and the late Claude Neel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Elizabeth retired from the St. Bernard School System after 25 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
