Elizabeth Berges Giordano entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the age of 60 years. Beloved mother of Amy Melnyk (John) and Michelle Buisson. Daughter of the late Josephine and William Berges. Sister of Louis Berges, Steve Berges, and the late Billy Berges and Barbara Berges Gutierrez. Grandmother of Jackson , Ella, and Josephine Melnyk, Pierce, Paxton, and Porter Buisson. Aunt of Melissa Berges and Rachel Laney. Nanny of Brian Acosta. Beloved friend of Vickie Lawrence. Former wife of Michael Giordano. A native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Entergy and First NBC are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St, Algiers, LA on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11 am. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 am until 11 am. Interment will be privately held at a later date. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the Berges and
Giordano family ..
Liz was a strong ,and inspirational women ,that
gave her all to others as she shared her journey of her struggles with cancer ..She shared her good days
with much hope and lived every minute to the fullest that she had of those good days ..She spent as much time as possible on those days with her family ,giving of her whole self with all her love .
She shared her bad days with strength ,inspiration
and her faith and love of Jesus ..
She gave on all days all her love and her whole self to her family and many others by sharing her journey every day ,good or bad ..
What a strong and unselfish women
was Liz amd her memory and all she gave will remain in our hearts and minds forever.. Thank you God for allowing Liz in my life .
