Elvin Charles (Jim) Williams, Sr. died Sunday, May 8, 2005. Son of the late Kilbert Gordon, Sr. and Beatrice Jones/Guardians Percy and Ernestine Williams. Father of Gilbert and Reginald Williams, Gwendolyn (Charles) Adams, Brenda (Julius) Nero and Debra (Lionel) Collins-Nelson and the late Elvin and Roderick Williams. Brother of a devoted sister Eleanor Smith (Aunt Boonie), Florzell Williams, Otalee Johnson, Mosella Franklin, Tomellar McPherson, Wilma Bridges, Attris, Joe and Louis Gordon. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 5 sisters and 6 brothers. A native of St. Francisville, LA. and a resident of New Orleans, LA. for 76 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of First Africian B.C., Plymouth Rock B.C., Gideon Christian Fellowship, St. Peter B.C. (St. Francisville, LA.) and Little Zion B.C. #3.
