Emile Rousseve Obituary

Emile Michael Rousseve "Fuzzy" age 86 passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, LA. He was a native of Edgard, LA and a resident of Reserve, LA. Son of the late Rose Duronslet and Lionel Rousseve. Devoted and loving husband of Leah R. Rousseve. Father of Constance Rousseve-Ross (Bob, Sr.), Sherrizon Rousseve-Jackson (John, Jr.) and Shaunnah Rousseve. Brother of Iris R. Sears, Ruby R. Coustaut, the late Maurice Rousseve and Canedia R. Thomas. Grandfather of Charliette "Charlie" Rousseve, Jeovanni Rousseve, Bob Rousseve-Ross (Kristin), Chelsea Rousseve-Ross, John Jackson, III and Jaycey Jackson. Survived by 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 1 great-granddaughter. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 772 Hwy. 44 (River Road), Reserve, LA on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Anthony M. Bozeman, SSJ, Celebrant. Visitation at the above-named church from 8:30 a.m. until Mass time. Rosary at 9:15 a.m. Interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve, LA. Serviced by Robottom Mortuary.
