Eric Hans Sciara

Eric Hans Sciara, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2023 at the age of 49. He was a native of New Orleans East, Louisiana, born on September 20, 1973. Eric is the beloved husband of Brandi Ann Liner Sciara; cherished father of Logan Dennison and Branden Dennison; treasured son of Frank S. Sciara and Joan Mogensen Sciara; and adored brother of Ken Lloyd Sciara and Lorie Sciara Duval. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends whom he loved greatly. Eric graduated from Jesuit High School and Southeast College of Technology with an associate's degree in computer science and was self-employed as a contractor. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, gardening, painting, and bowling, but treasured nothing more than the time he spent with his wife, family, and friends. Throughout his life, Eric was known for his unwavering kindness and compassion. He had a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life, and his infectious laughter and genuine interest in others brightened countless days. Whether it was his family, friends, or even strangers, Eric had a way of making everyone feel valued and understood. Eric's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will forever remain in the memories we hold dear. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and selflessness, reminding us all to embrace life with an open heart. He will fondly be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, best friend, and helpful hand to anyone in need. He lived a beautiful life and is greatly loved and missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.
