ALEXANDER Ernest (Joe) Alexander, Jr. departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, June 16, 2008. Husband of Ethel Mae Murphy Alexander. Father of Carolyn Murphy Johnson, Vera Alexander, Tammy Alexander, Kimberly Alexander, Connie Alexander, Tracey Alexander Simms, Stacey Alexander, Nicole Alexander, Craig Alexander, the late Kevin Duane Alexander, Ernest Alexander III and Phyllis Marie Murphy Anderson. Son of the late Ernest Alexander, Sr. and Arlivia Alexander. Brother of Arlene Rogers and Charlene Harold. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and co-workers. Age 70 years. A native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of True Love Full Gospel Ministries and White Chapel Baptist Church are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La. on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Cole, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery, Westwego, La. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St., Gretna, La.
