This great man was my college professor at Southern University. Then he became my friend. He was a great preacher of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. His church is a place of warmth and friendship. (the church also has the best biscuits this side of heaven. :)

Dear Marie and FamilY:
A real giant has once again fallen. Dr. London was truly a man of God who was admired by his peers, students and friends. In all of the years have I known him, first as a teacher, colleague, friend and minister, he has never changed. He always had a pleasant smile and kind words to say. I know that he was the love of your life but God allowed you to share those 40+ years together. Even though, it seems that God took him away from all who knew and loved him, but He loved him best and called His child from work to reward. I know that your heart is aching, but God will give you the strength to carry you, the girls and grandchildren through. With the prayers of all, may you find comfort in knowing that Reverend London is resting in the arms of Jesus. I will continue to lift you'll in prayers. Remember that just a little talk with Jesus will make everything alright. Love You!
