Eugene Paul Daigrepont

DAIGREPONT Eugene Paul Daigrepont, age 80, passed away on Saturday, Nov 26, 2011 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 23, 1931 in Bordelonville, LA. As a true American, he joined the military at the age of 15 and was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served with the 11th Airborne and with the 82nd Airborne in Japan. He attended LSU and South Georgia College. He was a member of the NOPD for 16 years. Over 30 years ago he founded a successful antique delivery business which is now operated by his sons. Eugene was the beloved husband of Bobbie Jean Steptoe for over 57 years. He was the father of three sons and three daughters. Along with his children's spouses, he had four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 3 PM. Interment, Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Parlors will be open Tuesday from 1:30 PM until 3 PM.
