To the family of my friend Evelyn,

I have such fond memories of growing up in Mt. Zion with Evelyn. It was there we formed a friendship that would last for a lifetime. Though separated by distance for more than 30 years, we never lost touch.

Evelyn was truly a phenomenal woman! Daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will truly be missed. May the memories of a life well lived bring you comfort, peace and joy in the days ahead.

Sincerely with love,
Brenda

To the Garrison and Bowers Families,
I was one Evelyn's classmates from elementary through Dillard U. Evelyn had a passion for life...Her family...husband, children, mother and sisters. Also, a driver with much love for the McDonogh#35 Class of 62(50th year celebration). Adamant about her attendance in our group meetings at many restaurants and in our celebration of 50 years walk, until she couldn't anymore. She enjoyed every activity. Some of our best times were sharing our growth through those years.I will dearly miss those laughable times we shared since those elemtary school classes.
