Everett LeBlanc Obituary

Everett ''Red' Bennett LeBlanc, he was a resident of Reserve, LA, currently residing with his daughter in Baton Rouge. Born March 20, 1915, in Paincourtville, LA, he died at home at 2:00 A.M. on November 30, 2004, following a lenghtly illness. He is survived by his children, Saundra LeBlanc ''Pye'' St. Pierre and her husband Stan ''Bubby'', Siminole, Florida; Jill LeBlanc Vanlangendonck and her husband Thomas, and Kerry LeBlanc and his wife Anne, all of Baton Rouge; Valerie LeBlanc Bourgeois and her husband Daniel, Grand Point; Kim LeBlanc Poche' and her husband Mark ''Booga'', Paulina; a sister Anne LeBlanc Berthelot, LaPlace; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Haydel LeBlanc; his parents, Charles H. and Corine St. Germain LeBlanc; and siblings Bruno, Steve, and Jessie LeBlanc, all of New Orleans. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a lifelong member of American Legion Post #159, Reserve, LA. He was a retired heavy machinery operator at Shell Chemical, Norco, LA. Special thanks are extended to the many family friends who have offered their loving support during the last several years, and especially to caregivers Linda Johnson and her daughter Laynetric Rogers. Visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. on Thursday, December 2, 2004 with funeral services in funeral home chapel immediately following. Interment will be at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace, LA.
