Southern University lost a true friend and brother. Everyone who was anyone knew Ferd and looked forward to seeing him on campus and at events. He was a kind soul and his parents did an execellent job raising such a respectable man. To Millie, Ferd Sr. and Family:

I met Ferd through my son Onagie and was delighted by his warm presence and big heart. Onagie always spoke so well of Ferd, like a brother. Ferd was someone he knew had his back. Ferd will be missed by many.

You have our deepest sympathy.

To Millie & Family

I know for certain that we never
lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible
imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives
have been enriched by having shared their love. Take hold of the memories you have made together and keep them close...
May the strength of FAITH, may the joy of HOPE, and may the warmth of LOVE
bring you PEACE in your time of sorrow. Always remember death leaves a heartache no one can heal, But love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Yung Ferd, "Whats Really" as we used to say? My heart is sad to see such a beautiful person inside and out leave us all so soon. But it was God's decision to bring you home to be by his side. At times like this we want to question God, but who are we to question his authority. But I pray that your family finds peace and comfort at this time of need. I pray that your soul Rest In Paradise, where everyday is Sunday and you can worship the Lord's name. I am very grateful to have had the privilege to meet you and be able to call you my friend, a good friend. When I was at SU we were together everyday, makin moves together, goin out of town together, partyin together, and so on! As you know I am not going to be able to make it to your services, but I will be there in spirit, I shall always remember and cherish all the good times and all the fun we had together! We definitely did it BIG in all that we did!! Love and Miss you ma Brotha from anotha Motha! You are at peace now so continue to get your Rest! Rest In Paradise YUNG FERD!!
