Florentine "Momma Tinner" Parker entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the age of 97. Daughter of the late Floristan and Mary Carson. Wife of the late Adrien Parker Jr. Mother of Nelson (Rose) Parker Sr., Angelina Parker, Marie Parker, the late Ernal (Carolyn) Parker Sr., Alton (Louise) Parker and Elizabeth Parker. Sister of Clara LaFrance, the late Mary LaFrance, Felicie Williams, Hilda Williams and Antoine Carson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Southern Pacific Railroad Inc., CHS, Popeye's of Maurice LA, McDonalds of Abbeville, LA, LSU School of Nursing, Dillard University, Securitas CIS, Freeport McMoran, Plaquemines Parish Government and Members of the Bethlehem Benevolence Society are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00am.
