Captain Floyd Edward Barrois passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 75, surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Beverly Gaudet Barrois- married for 43 years. Father of the late Dina Barrois, Chantel Fulton, Tiffany Barrois-Barnes (Prentiss), Kristen Barrois, and Les Barrois (Aimee). Grandfather of Logan Fulton, Isabella Fulton, John Fulton Jr., Beverly Fulton, Anna Claire Barrois, Mark Barrois, and Lacey Barrois. Great-grandfather of Blakely Jackson and Ava Correa. Born on July 19, 1947, son of the late Augustine Thibodaux and Berthney Barrois, Sr. Brother of the late Berthney Barrois Jr., Beryl Garma (Mickev), Carroll Barrois, and Jay Barrois (Nessa). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Native of Buras, LA and resident of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Beloved Saints Fan, graduate of Holy Cross High School, class of 1965. Floyd spent most of his career working as a Captain/owner in the tug and crew boat industry. Relatives and friends of the family, as well as his beloved French Quarter friends are invited to attend funeral services at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Belle Chase, LA on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Visitation from 9 am to 11:30 am, with mass to follow. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Gretna, LA. Livestream of services available if unable to attend in person. You were not just my father, you were my boss, my football Buddie, one of my best friends yes we fought but boy did we love hard unbreakable every night at 9:00 pm (I love you call ) now it´s just in prayers call believe you me my alarm is set . What a wonderful world your favorite daughter Tiffy lol
