Father of Rick Emerson, of Canton, GA and Genie Emerson, of Tampa, FL. Brother of Alonzo (Jack) Emerson and the late Audrey Emerson Meyers. Also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Retired from Jefferson Parish Clerk of Courts, after 30 years. Lifetime member of VFW Post Number 6640.
