Forrest Raymond Singer

SINGER Forrest Raymond Singer of Chalmette, LA, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the age of 84 at Heritage Manor in Slidell, LA. He was the beloved son of the late John Baptiste Singer and Magdalen Konen Singer. Loving brother of Althea Singer Pohlman (Tony) and the late Louise Singer Chopin (the late Ralston). He is also survived and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Mr. Singer was retired from the New Orleans Police Credit Union. He was a big fan of Carnival and enjoyed a longtime membership with the Krewe of Carrollton (King 1971), Krewe of Iris (King 1976) and the Krewe of Amor (King 1986). He was well loved by many and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR CHURCH, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00AM - 12:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12:00PM.
