I was a student in '57 and '58 working in Pediatrics at SBH with Mama Levy every chance I had. After graduation, I worked as her assistant head nurse for the next year. She helped to shape my nursing career and was such a positive influence. I just received word of her death tonight and wanted to pay my respects here. I will never forget Mama Levy.

a lot of the staff and patients called her Mama levy i worked with her back in the mid 70s before i went to nursing school i was a ward clerk and my father who was a doctor at baptist was glad that i had been sent to work with her because i would learn a lot and i did this would have been about 1974 she was a wonderful nurse my deepest sympathy to the family my dad has ben gone for 16 years but had nothing but the highest compliments for her
