Frank Joseph Gray Sr.

1935 - 2023

Frank Joseph Gray, Sr., age 87, a native of LaPlace, LA. passed away on Tues., March 7, 2023 in Fairhope, AL. Frank was a successful business owner of Brightway Signs in New Orleans for over 50 years. He was an avid sport fisherman, a pilot, a scuba diver, a snow skiing enthusiast and he enjoyed many other hobbies such as woodworking and ballroom dancing. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruffin Gray; mother, Ophelia Breaux Gray; brothers, Ray Gray, Ruffin Gray, and Walter Gray; his sisters, Carol and Shirley. Frank is survived by his wife, Dianne Gallodoro Gray; sons, Frank J. Gray Jr. (Lola Gray), and Gary J. Gray; stepsons, Dominic J. Traina (Paulette) and Gary V. Traina (Leah); grandchildren, Courtney Gray, Ashley Gray, Gene Gray, Miles Gray, Kristan Gray, Christina Smith, Mallory Traina, Celine Traina, and Eva Traina; great grandchildren, Jade, LaSean, Makei, Dominic, and Archer. A Celebration of Life mass will be on Thur., March 23, 2023, at 12:00 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Robertsdale, AL. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. Father Jim Morrison will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL. 36507.
