Frank LeMon Obituary

Frank Harold LeMon II passed away in his sleep in San Fran, California. He was Affiliations with the 100% College Prep Institute Club (with the Alliance of Black School Educators), Musicians Union of S. F. Facebook Member, The Ass. Bus Co.-SFUSD. Frank loved roller skating, line dancing, playing in his band, trips to Mardi Gras and the Zulu Ball, birthdays in Las Vegas and trips to Jamaica. Frank was a quiet and low-key man, who often wore a smile along with a fine fashion sense. He was drug free, seldom swore and had no tattoos. Frank's parents separated at age 3, and relocated to San Francisco. He attended Raphael Weill Elementary, Polytechnic High (1967-1968) graduated in 1969, receiving a diploma from Postal Street Academy GED. In New Orleans, Frank attended Green Junior School and Carver High. Frank performed on stage with Smokey Robinson, and Harvey Fuqua with Grand Theft Band, Rufus and Carla Thomas, Gil Scott Heron, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes featuring Teddy Pendergrass, Larry Graham, Anita Baker, The James Brown Review. The Bay Area owes a wealth of gratitude to Frank for his loyal contribution of laying down the funk throughout the Bay Area! Frank leaves behind 3 children, Darnell (wife Tennille); (He married Adrienne Johnson in 1975 and had two more children) Shira Danielle- and Frank Harold LeMon, III, two sisters, Debra and Stella LeMon, 9 grandchildren (Brooklyn, Shiryiah, Maryiah) DJ, Danille, Asonda, Chanel, Sanai and Zoriah, great grandson-King. His parents preceded him in transition Frank Harold LeMon and Elma "Nu Nu" Toups-LeMon; family, friends' coworkers at ZUM bus company.
