My father was ordained by Frank L Lewis and practically raised by him. As a kid Rev Lewis would make us sit at the steps of the pulpit teaching us to respect the word of God and the order of service. I was raised in St Mark and had my spiritual grounding instilled there, as a child. Rev Lewis' memories will live on forever. He taught and touched so many generations of people.

Rev Dr Frank L Lewis was my pastor at St Mark's - I learned a lot for this man - He would scratch his head - right in the middle and say " Forever bless the reading of God's word. " Thanks Reverend Lewis - we miss you

Carol and Cheryl:

Your father was a wonderful man who loved teaching others about the word of God. I was very blessed to have him marry me and baptize myself and my children. I know there are no words to express how much he will be missed, but I know as well as you that he is now where he's always been destined to go and will continue to watch over us and our St. Mark Family. God Bless.

To my beloved sisters, cousins and most of all friends, CAROLYN & (B.S.) CHERYL. Words can never express the love in my heart for each of you as we share this journey of life together. And we KNOW (as your dad taught) we live this life to live again. Hallelujah! Let us find comfort in knowing that this it was what Rev. Lewis preached about, lived for and proclaimed daily - "Eternal Life thru Jesus Christ". May both of you and the entire St Mark church family find peace and comfort in knowing and remembering that. Needless to say, we will miss him (physically), but we will feel and remember him forever in our hearts. God will continue to keep you in His care - That's my prayer!

We feel you in the morning
When at first we awake
Thoughts of you are with us
With each decision that we make

You've been around forever it seems
Since the first breath we took
Now we have to go on alone, but for love, we need not look
because by what you bestowed
In our short time together
Will last in our hearts
Forever and ever.

Although you've left
And now walk above
We KNOW we're never alone
We are wrapped in your love.

Enjoy now your long waited reward.
Feel peace that your love continues on, what was taught to us, Will Be taught to others as we continue on.....
because you live on in our hearts even after you've gone.

(We Love you Carolyn & Cheryl, and Family, and we KNOW God will continue to Bless You;Remember "The Potter" wants to put US back together again...When we are hurt, broken, or just need to feel someone is there :-) )

Dear Carolyn & Cheyl
Don't think of him as gone away--his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets--this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched for nothing loved is ever lost--and he was loved so much. To express our sincere sympathy in your
sorrow.

At a time when no words or level of sympathy can effectively console you, please remember that there is some solace in remembering the love and comfort that your father provided. Also remember that although absent in the body he is present with the Lord. Always reflect on the times you shared with him and also don't forget that his spirit continues to reside in you.
