Frank Roberts Obituary

Funeral Services for Mr. Frank Hewitt Roberts of Metairie, LA are 1:00 pm Friday, May 27, 2016 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven, MS, with burial at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is also Friday, from 11:00-1:00 at Riverwood. Mr. Frank Hewitt Roberts, 76, departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior on May 22, 2016. He was born on July 15, 1939. He was a Postal Carrier for the United States Post Office and was a member of The Village Church.Preceding him in death were his parents, W. H. Roberts and Lola White Roberts and first wife, Elaine Roebuck Roberts. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Loretta Rome Roberts; he was a loving father to Kenneth, Eric, Brent, Roy, Leah and Wendy; also survived by his sister, Linda Evans and 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to a service charity for children or those in need.

We're so sorry for your loss, Mrs. Loretta. Mr. Frank was a great man and will be missed. I will especially miss talking to him when we would catch each other outside. He was so active - always doing something in his yard, or even trimming the hedges in our yard! What a great man. We're right next door if you need us. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and his family.
