Gabriel Ferdinand Daroca, Jr., on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 11:26 a.m. Beloved husband of Juanita Lewis Daroca after 63 years of marriage. Father of Phyllis D. Mandal, Juanita D. Joseph, Laurie D. Maher and Dr. Gabriel F. Daroca, III. Son of the late Loretta Lambert and Gabriel Ferdinand Daroca, Sr. Brother of Ovida Kuss, Rita Broom and the late Loretta Mayeaux, Phillip Daroca, Sr. and Rudolph Daroca, Sr. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Aged 88 years, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie for the past 33 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass from the chapel of the Kenner Funeral Home of L.A. Muhleisen & Son, 2607 Williams Blvd., on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 11:00 o'clock a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. In Lieu of Flowers, donations to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 90, Destrehan, LA 70047, preferred.
